Jose and Megan Hernandez had a lifelong dream which became a reality in May of 2013, when they opened the first Jose Jalapeños location on Grindstone in Columbia.
They opened the Ashland location in December of 2016. Jose and Megan are enjoying the operations of running two locations while raising their two children, Ayden and Aubry.
“To be able to live out a dream and share it daily with my wife and kids… It truly is a blessing from God,” says Jose.
The Hernandez’s are take pride in the quality and freshness of their authentic Mexican cuisine. All of their food is made from scratch daily.
The recipe selection comes from the Jalisco, Mexico region where Jose was born and raised.
